Code Complete, Second Edition, by Steve McConnell, is a big book. I confess that I didn’t read every last word, but I did look at every page. It’s full of lots of great advice for programmers, and a little not-so-great advice – the advice that I don’t agree with, of course. He said that I wouldn’t agree with all of his conclusions, though, so I guess that means the whole book is right on the money.

I can’t really give it a thorough review, because the book is too comprehensive. I’d be here all day! So, I’ll simply state that every programmer needs to read through this book – more than once, almost certainly. Have fun!
